Resumo: The transportation of special cargo is an integral part of the complex logistics chain, being subdivided into several segments and specializations, including challenges that must be overcome during its execution. When it comes to medications, it is no different, due to their properties and needs, such as cleaning conditions, packaging conservation and temperature. Its movement is carried out in a dominant way, through the road modal and, for this, management and infrastructure are necessary in order to maintain the conditions of the medicine for use. The relevance of this research work is due to the constant development of this product. In addition, it has the general objective of addressing the difficulties for its transport and, in a specific way, what could be done to improve such activity. For this purpose, the methodology of bibliographic, descriptive and exploratory research was used, consulted in books and scientific articles.
