Resumo: I would like to start this editorial by spreading 2013´s access. There were 98, 898 visitors on the homepage of the journal. It is a 77% growth compared to 2011. This shows that, increasingly, BBR has been part of the research bases of Brazilian and foreign researchers. Possibly, this increase is due to the indexation of BBR on several bases such as EBSCO, Redalyc, Spell, RePEc, among others, which gives more visibility to BBR. Soon we will be on other research bases, which I will announce on the next editorial. This increases the responsibility of the authors, reviewers and editors. So, we want to clarify that the number of direct rejections (desk-reject) is increasing. Both me, and my team of associate editors, we must continually expand the scientific quality of the published articles in BBR''s and this necessarily results in more direct rejections, so evaluators have good articles to evaluate, without overloading. As a hint to the authors, I want to highlight that most direct rejections are: (a) the article´s subject do not coincide with the journal´s scope; (B) the theoretical contribution of the article is little; (C) the article is too long without justification; (D) the article is superficial; (E) the writing is poor; (F) references are unimportant; (G) the methodology is inadequate or poorly explained; (H) has no contribution for scientific academy; (I) has been identified; (J) the format does not follow the standards of the journal. So, I let this short list as a guide to authors wishing to present their research to the BBR. In this issue, we offer readers 6 articles that highlight the multidisciplinarity of BBR. The first article, produced by Jose Carlos Tiomatsu Oyadomari, Alexandre de Lacerda Pedrique, Amaury José Rezende and Diogenes de Souza Bido, examined the relationships between the use of the management control system, organizational learning, managerial decisions and performance in hospital organizations. Based on the data obtained in 48 Brazilian hospitals, the authors identified relationships between interactive use and organizational learning, organizational learning and between financial decisions and costs and processes, decisions between costs and non-cash processes and performance. Finally, the authors highlight the methodological, theoretical and practical implications for management accounting. The second article, produced by Ligia Maria Heinzmann and Denise Del Prá Netto Machado, objective to identify values ??and cultural dimensions of the organizations at different stages of internationalization, based on the Uppsala Model. After conducting a survey of representatives of 4 companies at different stages of internationalization, the authors noted that companies that export or have regular sales subsidiaries or overseas production have similar values ??and culture between themselves and different companies exporting occasionally. Following, Sérgio Augusto Pereira Bastos and Teresia Diana Lewe van Aduard de Macedo Soares present the result of applying in the Light, an electricity distributor, the analytical schema for Business Strategies for Management Policies (GEPE), with model, methodology and  reference list, and developed to assist the strategic management of companies in regulated industries, considering its alliances. The authors conclude that the application of GEPE can contribute to the strategic decision process in organizations, especially in highly regulated industries. The article by Marcos Hideyuki Yokoyama and Tomoki Sekiguchi brings a much-discussed topic today: the use of online social networks (RSO) in the workplace. Having as a field of study the Brazilian companies, they aimed to understand how Brazilian companies are using these RSO to achieve their corporate objectives. Qualitative research conducted by the authors indicated three groups of companies: knowledge creators, image managers and controllers. The first group uses the RSO to enlarge its powers. The second group uses the RSO as a mean to build the image of the organization. And the third group sees RSO as problematic for employee´s productivity, as well as a dangerous media that needs to be watched in order to preserve the confidentiality of the organization. The fifth paper, produced by Jackson André da Silva, Nério Amboni, Anacleto Angelo Ortigara and Alexandre Marino Costa, investigated the factors related to the genesis and operation, as perceived by the leaders of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) of Santa Catarina, which can contribute to the competitiveness and longevity, since its origin. After collecting data from the business leaders of active and closed companies, the authors concluded that the managers assumed to be better able to influence the success of their business through the pursuit of knowledge of the market, the ability to deal with new situations and the use of instruments of administrative control, rather than relying on external factors such as access to finance, market and competition. Finally, the last article, created by Francisco Vicente Sales Melo and Salomão Alencar de Farias, addresses another very current topic, sustainability. In the authors'' study, the objective was to verify if the issue of sustainability is also presented as a determining factor in choosing a touristic destination, from the relationship between the identity of a tourist destination in Brazil or the Netherlands, submitted on an official website, from sustainability characteristics, evaluation of destiny and purchase intent among consumers. Authors showed that the analyzed subjects do not tend to have positive attitudes in the evaluation of destinations that emphasize sustainability issues in their promotion via websites. Complementary, these elements did not contribute to the formation of a positive and increased intention to visit (buy) the destination image. In short, my team and I wish you a good reading of the articles published in this edition! Emerson Mainardes Editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian Business Review

In short, my team and I wish you a good reading of the articles published in this edition!
