Resumo: This article investigates humor in internet memes that circulated in WhatsApp groups of Bolsonaro supporters during six months of his government. Content analysis aims to understand what are the nationalist rhetorical elements present in memes shared by the Brazilian far-right, notably those that make direct mention to Bolsonaro, what anti-democratic expressions these memes mobilize and how their circulation somehow reflects recent events in the country’s political life. We conclude that the images circulated in these groups help pave the way for a far-right visual humor, with a strongly ideological and radicalized content.

El análisis de contenido tiene como objetivo comprender cuáles son los elementos retóricos nacionalistas presentes en los memes compartidos por la extrema derecha brasileña, en particular los que hacen mención directa a Bolsonaro, qué expresiones antidemocráticas movilizan estos memes y cómo su circulación refleja de alguna manera los hechos recientes. en la vida política del país. Concluimos que las imágenes que circulan en estos grupos ayudan a hacer espacio para un humor visual de extrema derecha, con un contenido fuertemente ideológico y radicalizado.Este artigo investiga o humor em memes de internet que circularam em grupos do WhatsApp de apoiadores de Bolsonaro durante seis meses de seu governo. A análise de conteúdo propõe-se a compreender quais são os elementos retóricos nacionalistas presentes nos memes compartilhados pela extrema-direita brasileira, notadamente aqueles que fazem menção direta a Bolsonaro, quais expressões antidemocráticas esses memes mobilizam e como a sua circulação reflete de alguma forma acontecimentos recentes na vida política do país.
