Resumo: This study focuses on culture as a possibility for organization competitiveness. It favors mutual respect among singular cultural groups engaged in globalization by proposing essentially humane relationships, as a means of dismissing modem threats to which culture has been exposed. Dispositions demonstrated by the research subjects in terms of criticism contrast with their ambiguous self-criticism behavior. The research results also show some confusion in working and social situations related to disapproved cultural characteristics. Such confusion, added to other manifested difficulties, can damage existing cultural gifts. The study's condusions suggest a phenomenological approach towards authentic human encounters and conversation at work, school, or at any situation in life, aiming at the development of cultural abilities and of more strongly approved attitudes.
