Resumo: | ESG's corporate policy represents an adaptation by company managers to the new environmental, moral and social governance values of investors and clients. Companies that do not adapt to such perspectives may find it difficult to develop. In this context, the case presents a Nutty World expansion plan in Brazil that presented dilemmas related to new consumers and the acquisition of greater quantities of supplies. The solution was to look for a new supplier with cost dilution. The plan, however, showed difficulties related to quality management criteria and qualification of supply chain intermediaries. |
