Resumo: The purpose of this paper is to understand the relationship between strategies and collaborative organizational arrangements and the defining of their position within the corporate power structure. The strategic approach employed herein is that of case studies so as to comprehend the peculiarities and the value proposition of the management model of innovation networks at a Brazilian company that operates in the personal hygiene, perfumery and cosmetics segment. To excel within an environment marked by increased global competition, companies have to develop and learn with an innovative work structure and culture. This derives from the rapid shortening of product life cycles which drives the need to innovate at more frequent intervals and to develop technologies, processes, products and/or services more efficiently. Furthermore, given increased product, technologies and processes complexity, attention is drawn to the expansion of costs and risks to innovate to the extent of enhancing uncertainties and pressure on R&D+i (Research, Development and Innovation) budgets. Meanwhile, the need for interdisciplinarity by means of cooperation likewise comes to light.

Future Studies Research Journal: Trends and Strategies2014-07-02info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionPeer-reviewed Articleapplication/pdfapplication/pdfhttps://www.revistafuture.org/FSRJ/article/view/15510.24023/FutureJournal/2175-5825/2014.v6i1.155Future Studies Research Journal: Trends and Strategies; Vol. 6 No. 1 (2014): Future Studies Research Journal; 172-220Future Studies Research Journal: Trends and Strategies [FSRJ]; v. 6 n. 1 (2014): Future Studies Research Journal; 172-2202175-5825reponame:Future Studies Research Journal: Trends and Strategiesinstname:Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA)instacron:FIAengporhttps://www.revistafuture.org/FSRJ/article/view/155/268https://www.revistafuture.org/FSRJ/article/view/155/267Copyright (c) 2014 Future Studies Research Journal: Trends and Strategiesinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTuccori, Sonia Regina MangiavacchiLuppi Júnior, EduardoCarvalho, Ruy de QuadrosSantos, Glicia Vieira dos2015-06-16T15:58:49Zoai:ojs.future.emnuvens.com.br:article/155Revistahttps://www.revistafuture.org/FSRJ/oai2175-58252175-5825opendoar:2015-06-16T15:58:49Future Studies Research Journal: Trends and Strategies - Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA)false
