Resumo: The article aims to show how journalism builds a cultural and mediatic memory around the AI-5 (Institutional Act nº 5), through narrative strategies, producing and re-updating, for example, a long-lasting forgetfulness of many of the meanings of that past. Thus, while some editions gain relevance for mirroring a heroic mediatic past, others are deliberately forgotten. How did the newspapers construct the moment that would constitute itself as pages for a future of a past in a narrative filled with historical dimension? We propose, therefore, a reflection not only on the memorable dimension of journalism, but also on the establishment of links connecting this same journalism with the present, the past and the future in a web of narrative resignifications.

Assim, enquanto algumas edições ganham relevância por espelharem um passado midiático heroico, outras são deliberadamente esquecidas. Como os jornais construíram aquele momento que se constituiria em páginas para um futuro de um passado numa narrativa repleta da dimensão histórica?
