Resumo: | From the perspective of mediatization and the increase of the production and circulation of images with new devices, this paper deals with the Facebook page "˜Boletim Geral"™, which displays shocking pictures of explicit violence and death. Through the analysis of photographs, text, and interactions with the public of the page, we try to understand which symbolic construction about public security these images produce, considering the highly present discourse of the police, and the tension provoked in relation to the traditional journalism. The theoretical foundation comes from authors like Fausto Neto (2007, 2010), and Ana Paula da Rosa (2014, 2016) on mediatization, circulation, and image; and Flusser (2002) on images and imaginary. |

Parágrafo2019-01-16info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistaseletronicas.fiamfaam.br/index.php/recicofi/article/view/827Parágrafo; v. 6 n. 2 (2018): 12a Edição: Revista Parágrafo: Maio-Agosto de 2018; 772317-4919reponame:Parágrafoinstname:Centro Universitário FIAM-FAAMinstacron:FIAMFAAMporhttps://revistaseletronicas.fiamfaam.br/index.php/recicofi/article/view/827/585Copyright (c) 2019 Parágrafoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessRosa, Ana PaulaSantos, AlineMallmann, Igor Fernando2019-01-17T14:19:19ZRevistahttps://revistaseletronicas.fiamfaam.br/index.php/recicofiPRI |
