Resumo: This study affords an inventory on the main equipment for the worker protection, with focus on the drug Research and Development process, which is here understood on the basis on Chemistry and Biology (preclinical pharmacological assays). Items were compiled from the actual legal recommendations about Health and Safety of workers. The study also emphasizes the importance of the laboratory waste management.

Os itens foram compilados a partir das recomendações vigentes nas legislações que tratam da saúde e segurança do trabalhador.
