Resumo: 1. The authors preconize the use of Folin-Ciocalteu's reagent in the colorimetric determination of reducing cortcosteroids. 2. The reaction follows Beer's law in the range 0-50 μg of 11-desoxycorticosterone. 3. Determinations made in human urine and adrenal glands of rats and guinea pigs are comparable with results obtained by other methods.
