Electric death documented by holter24h in a patient with dilated cardiomyopathy; case report: relato de caso

Holter is a non-invasive method that allows the detection and quantification of the various types of arrhythmias, this work aims to demonstrate a case report of a 61-year-old patient with a previous diagnosis of dilated Cardiomipathy (CMD) in 24-hour Holter-assisted monitoring evolved with documented electrical death. The methodology used was analysis of medical records. The patient in question came to the outpatient clinic to perform the Holter 24hrs, during the twenty-first hour of monitoring the exam, reported malaise and sought emergency service, being promptly attended and showing signs of low output. In the following hours, the patient evolved with symptomatic worsening, followed by short periods of ventricular fibrillation, refractory to the cardiorespiratory resuscitation maneuvers, triggering death in asystole recorded by the Holter method 24hrs.
