Resumo: Objective: Describe the action "String Literature as a tool for inclusion in the immunization process" held at the Basic Health Unit - Rio Doce V, which emphasizes the importance of vaccination in preventing diseases and reducing mortality, using popular literature as an impulse to propagate information with informal and creative language. It is hoped that this experience can be reproduced in other scenarios, respecting popular culture. Experience report: The project was developed at the FHU Rio Doce V stage and counted on the participation of employees, preceptor of the internship and population field. A priori, an outline was made of what would be inserted in the unit, the logistics of sharing information for the population and how the content would be absorbed, since the main audience is the unit's families and children. With the cordel produced, an adhesive panel was created with an allusion to the idea of a family protected against diseases and a vaccinated family and inserted in a northeastern context. It was observed that the population and the unit'steam significantly joined the project. As we can demonstrate through reports from the professional team that works at the FHU where the work was initially developed. Final considerations: Through this study, the aim was to play a role in promoting and preventing health in the community, implementing strategies that act in the search for instructions for the local population with cultural, clear and accessible content. We are convinced that we carry out this activity, with commitment to improving the community, contributing to the construction and strengthening of the Unified Health System.

We are convinced that we carry out this activity, with commitment to improving the community, contributing to the construction and strengthening of the Unified Health System.
