Resumo:  The objective of this study is to present alternatives of reuse of treated water in an Effluent Treatment Station (ETS), of water generated from pharmaceutical industry. It was verified the possibility of reducing the capture of approximately 4,000m³ of water per month, in order to reduce the water utility company consumption, and also to reduce the capture of groundwater from artesian wells. The water reuse generated from the treatment system studied has results based on the quality standards recommended on the Industry Conservation and Reuse Handbook - Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro - FIRJAN and to the standards established by CONAMA 430 Article 16, since in Brazil there is no legislation about to water reuse. The presented system is definitely considered efficient, so that the reuse of water in discharges of toilets, washing of floors and among others referenced situations, the pharmaceutical industry will hugely save and leave to use natural water resources, where the use of the water for this purpose represents approximately 15% of all water consumed at this industry.
