Resumo: The aim of this article is to analyze the conceptual relationships between social entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurial opportunities from the bibliometric review as research strategies. To carry out this study, with a quantitative approach, exploratory and descriptive in nature, we used bibliometric research and the Proknow-C research method, using the VOSviewer software tool. The database chosen for this study was the Web of Science. The main results show that Neubaum, Zahra, Gedajlovic and Shulman are the most relevant authors and that the largest number of published documents are found in the USA. It appears that publications containing this theme are still scarce and recent, with the absence of documents published by Brazil in the Web of Science database, which can be considered as an emerging field of research and an area to be explored by Brazilian researchers. Furthermore, two perspectives present in the analyzed studies were identified: concepts and definitions of social entrepreneurship and social opportunities as a result of institutional voids.

Para la realización de este estudio, con un enfoque cuantitativo, exploratorio y descriptivo, se utilizó la investigación bibliométrica y el método de investigación Proknow-C, utilizando la herramienta de software VOSviewer. La base de datos elegida para este estudio fue Web of Science. Los principales resultados muestran que Neubaum, Zahra, Gedajlovic y Shulman son los autores más relevantes y que el mayor número de documentos publicados se encuentran en EEUU. Parece que las publicaciones sobre este tema son aún escasas y recientes, con la ausencia de documentos publicados por Brasil en la base de datos Web of Science, lo que puede ser considerado como un campo de investigación emergente y un área a explorar por investigadores brasileños.O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as relações conceituais entre empreendedorismo social e oportunidades empreendedoras sociais a partir da revisão bibliométrica como estratégia de pesquisa. Para realização deste estudo, de abordagem quantitativa, natureza exploratória e descritiva, utilizou-se da pesquisa bibliométrica e do método de pesquisa Proknow-C, por meio da ferramenta de software VOSviewer. A base de dados escolhidas para realização deste estudo foi a Web of Science. Os principais resultados mostram que Neubaum, Zahra, Gedajlovic e Shulman são os autores mais relevantes e que o maior número de documentos publicados encontram-se nos EUA.
