Resumo: Resumo Compreender o processo de construção identitária dos Caboclos em Candomblés Congo-Angola localizados na cidade de Salvador, a partir da noção de representação social, nos ajuda a identificar algun s tipos sociais presentes e construídos historicamente em celebrações afro-religiosas. Narr ativas e memórias de sujeitos praticantes de Candomblé Congo-Angola dão vozes para o entendimento de algumas formas de culto e reverência aos Caboclos Laje Grande e Umzecai.   Palavras-chave: representações; candomblé de caboclos; candomblé congo-angola.   Abstract Understanding the identity construction process of Mestizos in Candomblés Congo-Angola located in the city of Salvador, from the notion of social representation, helps us identify some social types present and historically constructed in african-religious celebrations. Narratives and memories of subjects practitioners of Candomblé Congo-Angola give voices to the understanding of some forms of worship and reverence for the Great Slab Mestizos and Umzecai.   Keywords: representations; Candomblé mestizos; Candomblé Congo-Angola.
