 Este trabalho trata de percepções sobre os temas linguagem, cinema e romance em relação à figura feminina. O objetivo é analisar como a mulher é retratada na mídia durante a transição dos séculos XX e XXI. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica baseada em referenciais teóricos. É um trabalho com abordagem qualitativa de tipo exploratória e descritiva com base em procedimentos técnicos bibliográficos e documentais, tendo como proposta apresentar a trajetória das mulheres na linguagem do cinema. A pesquisa constatou que este seguimento tecnológico exibe certa contradição no modo como apresenta um “perfil feminino” durante a transição dos séculos XX para o XXI. Percebe-se um retrocesso de valores propagados por este tipo de produção em relação ao papel feminino na sociedade. Este trabalho também apresenta questões como: a construção da identidade, e as relações entre o texto e o leitor. Palavras-Chave: Mulher. Cinema. Linguagem.  Identidade.  ABSTRACT This work deals with perceptions about the themes language, cinema and romance in relation to the female figure. The goal is to analyze how women are portrayed in the media during the transition of the 20th and 21st centuries. For this, a bibliographical research was carried out based on theoretical references. It is a qualitative work of exploratory and descriptive type based on technical bibliographical and documentary procedures, with the purpose of presenting the trajectory of women in the language of cinema. The research found that this technological follow-up shows some contradiction in the way it presents a "female profile" during the transition from the 20th to the 21st centuries. There is a regression of values propagated by this type of production in relation to the feminine role in society. This work also presents questions such as the construction of identity, and the relationship between the text and the reader. Keywords: Woman. Movie Theater. Language. Identity.
