A relevância e a justificativa deste estudo são dadas pela abertura dos mercados, graças ao processo de globalização, o que envolve as mais variadas relações entre pessoas, instituições e organizações, uma vez que os portos são fundamentais para o sucesso de um país no mercado internacional. O objetivo desta pesquisa é indicar as principais deficiências e atrasos no quesito de liberação de cargas no Porto de Santos. O método utilizado é quali-quantitativo e visa a abordar a questão objeto da pesquisa. Conclui-se daí a necessidade de mais investimentos em infraestrutura, gestão portuária e desburocratização.Palavras-chave: Porto de Santos. Liberações de Carga. Infraestrutura. Gestão Portuária. ABSTRACTThe relevance and justification of this study is given by the opening of markets, thanks to the globalization process, which involves the most varied relationships between people, institutions and organizations, since ports are fundamental for the success of a country in the international market. The purpose of this research is to indicate the main deficiencies and delays in the issue of cargo clearance at the Port of Santos. The method used is qualitative and quantitative and aims to address the issue that is the object of the research.
