Resultado Fiscal e Endividamento Bruto em Prefeituras dos Maiores Municípios do Nordeste / Tax Results and Gross Indebtedness in Municipalities of the Largest Municipalities in the Northeast

Resumo: | O controle das finanças públicas se constitui como elemento essencial para a eficiência, eficácia e efetividade da gestão pública. O equilíbrio entre o que se arrecada e o que se gasta é primordial na Administração Pública, é uma informação relevante para que a sociedade conheça quanto está sendo arrecadado e destinado a áreas que afetam diretamente o dia a dia dos cidadãos. O objetivo geral do estudo é analisar a eficiência orçamentária, através do resultado fiscal e endividamento público. Do ponto de vista de sua natureza, a pesquisa se classifica como aplicada. No que se refere à abordagem do problema, foi utilizado o método quantitativo, com propósito exploratório. A técnica empregada para a coleta dos dados foi a pesquisa documental. Foi realizada uma pesquisa documental. Fizeram parte da amostra, todos os municípios do interior da Região Nordeste, que não são capitais, com população entre 300.000 e 700.000 habitantes. Percebeu-se que dados os municípios que fizeram parte dessa amostra possuem endividamento, contudo, Campina Grande, Mossoró e Camaçari são as cidades que apresentam o maior endividamento, com destaque para Campina Grande, que apresenta resultados superiores a 70%. Os melhores resultados foram observados nos municípios de Caucaia, Paulista e Feira de Santana, respectivamente. Palavras-chave: Contabilidade Pública. Eficiência de Gastos. Resultado Fiscal.
