Resumo: Taking as our point of departure the complex possibility of defending a supporting ground for the formal attributes in Platonic thought, a thesis that invites us to consider a kind of deformalized entity that lacks every possible ontic identity – favoring relationalism – our aim is to discuss some of the most significant versions of this issue, those that arise because of the effective presence of beings as substrates, individuals above all, in Plato’s middle-period writings, as well as of the rupture with sensible entities in the Timaeus.
