Social technologies and creative endeavors in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte/MG

Resumo: Social technologies have become popular as alternatives to solving structural problems of the most excluded sectors of society to the extent that they are presented as modern, simple and of low cost solutions, supported by government programs. The research intended to investigate cases of social technologies that promote social inclusion, with the purpose of developing social projects in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. The present study used different knowledge, information and experience, accumulated by citizens, with the aim of proposing income-generating solutions in social endeavors. Qualitative methodology applied to case study was used. Some examples in income generation are recorded, as the activities of Produtora Antenada of Betim, the NGO Mudança Já in the region of Venda Nova, and the social technology Librário: Libras para Todos in Belo Horizonte. It is possible to conclude that the examples of the analyzed social technologies can generate income in creative enterprises and promote the local socioeconomic development.JEL-Code | O38; Q56; R59.

La investigación busca ejemplos de tecnologías sociales que promueven la inclusión social, con perspectivas para desarrollar proyectos en la región metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. El estudio utiliza diferentes conocimientos, información y experiencia acumulada por los ciudadanos, en su momento, proponer soluciones de generación de ingresos en los esfuerzos sociales. Se utiliza en la metodología cualitativa en el estudio de caso, sobre la base de consideraciones metodológicas presentadas por Lüdcke y Andrew (1986). Se han algunos ejemplos en la generación de ingresos como las actividades el Produção Antenados de la ciudad de Betim, de la Mudança Já de las Ong. en la región de Venda Nova y tecnología social Librário: Libras para todos en Belo Horizonte. Se concluye que los ejemplos de las tecnologías sociales analizados pueden generar ingresos en los esfuerzos creativos y promover el desarrollo socioeconómico local.Código JEL | O38; Q56; R59.As tecnologias sociais se popularizaram como alternativas para a resolução de problemas estruturais dos setores mais excluídos da sociedade, na medida em que se apresentam como soluções modernas, simples e de baixo custo, apoiadas por programas governamentais. A pesquisa investiga exemplos de tecnologias sociais que promovem a inclusão social, com perspectivas de desenvolverem empreendimentos sociais, na Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. O estudo utilizou os diferentes saberes, informações e experiências acumulados pelos cidadãos para, oportunamente, propor soluções de geração de renda em empreendimentos. Utilizou-se da metodologia de natureza qualitativa, aplicada a estudo de caso. Registraram-se alguns exemplos de geração de renda, como as atividades do “Antenados Produtora”, da cidade de Betim, a ONG “Mudança Já”, na região de Venda Nova, e a tecnologia social “Librário: Libras para Todos”, em Belo Horizonte.
