Resumo: With the present study it is intended to examine the dumping in the European Community, as well as the way in which the development of international trade relations led to the necessity of the existence of these practices control which detract the international trade. Thus, the incorporation of the dumping by the European Community and as well as some data about the investigations and antidumping measures imposed by the same. Key words: Dumping. Antidumping. European Community.Este artigo tem por objeto a análise do dumping na Comunidade Européia, bem como o modo pelo qual a evolução das relações comerciais internacionais deram origem à necessidade da existência do controle destas práticas que desvirtuam o comércio internacional. Desta forma, analisa-se a incorporação do dumping por parte da Comunidade Européia, bem como, a título exemplificativo, alguns dados acerca das investigações e medidas antidumping aplicadas pela mesma.
