Resumo: The "collaborative" book among Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Miguel Darcy de Oliveira and Sérgio Fausto which was suggested by Companhia das Letras (through its founder, Luiz Schwarcz) entitled Crisis and reinvention of politics in Brazil is a unique work about the history of Brazil in the New Republic, mainly, in the current political-moral crisis in which Brazil lives. In fact, it is an essay, a political message involving the structural processes that affect not only politics, but also the Brazilian economy, society and culture. Besides the Brazilian political conjuncture with its specificities: the fall of Dilma, corruption, Car Wash (Lava Jato) , the weakening of the PT, the reactionary right, the role of Brazil in the world, and the new possibilities that are unveiled in the 2018 elections.
