MEMÓRIA DA DISCIPLINA DE LUTAS E ARTES MARCIAIS NA FORMAÇÃO EM EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA NO BRASIL

Resumo: Historical studies that refer to the training process are always welcome, however, it is also understood as essential to study the subjects that are and were part of the curricular arsenal of graduates. The present article aimed to highlight the historical trajectory and the insertion of the discipline of Wrestling and Martial Arts in the schools of professional formation in Physical Education in Brazil, identifying social actors and the places that allowed its process of institutionalization in the graduation. The documental research technique and thematic analysis were used as a method. Data were treated by context analysis. It was concluded that Wrestling and Martial Arts were present in the constitution of Physical Education in the country, however, the positions throughout the historical process created different fields: the field of training and the field of Wrestling and Martial Arts, showing that the maintenance of this discipline in the curriculum took place through a process of reproduction. This reality greatly impairs the positioning and intervention of professionals and technicians of Wrestling and Martial Arts in the market, suggesting further discussions about this profession in Brazil.

Este artículo tuvo como objetivo resaltar la trayectoria histórica y la inserción de las disciplinas de Lucha y Artes Marciales en las Escuelas de Formación Profesional de Educación Física en Brasil, identificando los actores sociales y los lugares que permitieron su proceso de institucionalización en la graduación. Se utilizó como método la técnica de investigación documental y análisis temático. Los datos fueron tratados por análisis de contexto. Se concluyó que las Luchas y Artes Marciales estuvieron presentes en la construcción de la Educación Física en el país, sin embargo, las posturas a lo largo del proceso histórico crearon diferentes campos: el campo de la formación y el campo de las Luchas y Artes Marciales, demostrando que el mantenimiento de esta disciplina en el currículo se dio por un proceso de reproducción. Esta realidad perjudica grandemente el posicionamiento y la intervención de profesionales y técnicos de Lucha y Artes Marciales en el mercado, sugiriendo mayores discusiones sobre esta profesión en Brasil.Os estudos históricos que se referem ao processo de formação são sempre bem vindos, contudo, também se entende como essencial estudar as disciplinas que fazem e fizeram parte do rol curricular dos graduados. O presente artigo teve como objetivo evidenciar a trajetória histórica e a inserção da disciplina de Lutas e Artes Marciais nas Escolas de formação profissional em Educação Física no Brasil, identificando atores sociais e os locais que permitiram seu processo de institucionalização na graduação. Utilizou-se como método a técnica de pesquisa documental e análise temática. Os dados foram tratados pela análise de contexto. Concluiu-se que as Lutas e Artes Marciais estiveram presentes na constituição da Educação Física no país, entretanto, os posicionamentos ao longo do processo histórico criaram campos distintos: o campo da formação e o campo das Lutas e Artes Marciais, evidenciando que a manutenção desta disciplina no currículo se deu por um processo de reprodução.
