Resumo: | The present work discuss National Curricular Guidelines to Pedagogy Courses – Resolution CNE/CP n. 1/06 - expedited in May, 15, 2006. It was searched to know the process that culminated in approving new guidelines, as well to verify the new pedagogue profile proposed in the document. It is presented a documents analysis that guided the Education Ministry and Education National Counsel about the formation in Pedagogy Course. The Guidelines to Pedagogy Course are organized through tree concepts: teaching, management and knowledge. Teaching occupy hegemonic position, not only because it is the base, but because it presents a new pedagogue conception. In this way, it was verified that the present pedagogue profile assume a enlarge teaching conception and serve to capitalism society demands once it has as guidelines adaptability, versatility and flexibility. |

Buscou-se compreender o processo que culminou na aprovação das novas diretrizes, bem como verificar o perfil de pedagogo proposto pelo documento. Apresenta-se uma análise dos documentos norteadores do Ministério da Educação e do Conselho Nacional de Educação acerca da formação no curso de Pedagogia. As Diretrizes para o curso de Pedagogia organizam-se em torno de três conceitos, quais sejam: docência, gestão e conhecimento. A docência ocupa posição hegemônica, não apenas por ser a sua base, mas por apresentar uma nova concepção de pedagogo.
