EDUCATION AND PANDEMIC: a comparative study between the educational reality of Brazil and Uruguay

Resumo: | This text addresses emergency teaching and the reopening of school institutions for the continuity of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, taking into account the scenario experienced by Brazil and Uruguay. From this, the objective is to analyze the impact of the students; economic situation, and state policies to mitigate this effect. Therefore, the first country, respectively, was the one that remained with the most closed schools in the world and the second returned to face-to-face classes quickly. For this, the research was built, based on the comparative method, through two perspectives: the artifices for the development of online teaching and the effectiveness of the regression to the presence, being analyzed in both countries. To this end, authors and scientific data were used to support the actions carried out by each territory. The research showed that it is necessary to invest in technological resources in education, not only in the pandemic moment, which is essential to reduce inequality of access in social classes. |

A partir de ello, el objetivo es analizar el impacto de la situación económica de los estudiantes y las políticas estatales para mitigar este efecto. Por tanto, el primer país, respectivamente, fue el que se quedó con más colegios cerrados del mundo y el segundo volvió rápidamente a las clases presenciales. Para ello, se construyó la investigación, a partir del método comparativo, a través de dos perspectivas: los artificios para el desarrollo de la docencia en línea y la efectividad de la regresión a la presencial, siendo analizados en ambos países. Para ello, se utilizaron autores y datos científicos que sustentan las acciones realizadas por cada territorio. La investigación demostró que es necesario invertir en recursos tecnológicos en la educación, no solo en el momento de la pandemia, em el que es fundamental reducir la desigualdad de acceso en las clases sociales.Este texto aborda a respeito do ensino emergencial e da reabertura das instituições escolares, para a continuidade da aprendizagem durante o enfrentamento da Covid-19, levando em consideração o cenário vivenciado pelo Brasil e o Uruguai. A partir disso, objetiva-se analisar o impacto da situação econômica dos estudantes e as políticas estatais para mitigar esse efeito. Portanto, o primeiro país, respectivamente, foi o que mais permaneceu com as escolas fechadas no mundo e o segundo retornou às aulas presenciais rapidamente. Para isso, a pesquisa foi construída, com base no método comparativo, através de duas perspectivas: os artifícios para o desenvolvimento do ensino on-line e a efetivação da regressão à presencialidade, sendo analisados nos dois países. Para tal, foram utilizados autores e dados científicos para fundamentar as ações realizadas por cada território.
