Resumo: This study is a bibliographic review which aims to enlighten the role of the nursing professional face to the therapeutic care, with emphasis in educational activities to inform patients who have undergone angioplasty. Therefore, we acknowledge the nursing professionals as disseminating agents and implementers of preventive measures, adopted as an attempt to stimulate changes in the life style of patients who have cardiovascular diseases.
