Resumo: In home food measurement silverwares are instruments used to measure the amount of food that will be used to prepare and distribute meals. The aim of this study was to make a standardization of home measurement silverware techniques with diet workers in the Hospital Sociedade Portuguesa de Beneficência de Pelotas, as well as to develop a nutritional education process about the importance of this activity. Daily, a nutritionist made the measure standardization and talked about the aspects related to this service. At the end of this process, we observed that all workers adopted these measures, understanding the relevance of their function in the hospital.

O objetivo deste estudo foi realizar uma padronização das medidas caseiras entre os funcionários responsáveis por servir as dietas do Hospital Sociedade Portuguesa de Beneficência de Pelotas, bem como executar um processo de educação nutricional acerca da importância dessa atividade. Diariamente, o nutricionista treinava, padronizava e explanava para os trabalhadores que serviam as dietas sobre os aspectos relacionados a este serviço.
