Resumo: This project is proposed to test in rats, responses to the hypercholesterolemia, induced by the supplementation of commercial diets with animal fat and cholesterol, treated with aqueous 3% of green tea associated with exercise. Of all the animals were evaluated concentrations of cholesterol, triglycerides, VLDL, glucose, blood values, weight gain and organ, and the effects on the activity of lipid peroxidation of liver tissue. It is suggested that foods rich in polyphenols, such as green tea, in combination with regular moderate exercise, may offer positive effects on levels of cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose.
