Resumo: In this study I problematize sayings extracted from articles in the Agora newspaper about the SOS Cassino movement, self-styled non-partisan and non-profit. I use Foucault's problematization and the notion of network, as a theoretical-methodological attitude of data production and analysis. As a result, there are: 1) the emergence of a consensus on an eco-sustainable solution to the problem of mud accumulation on the beach; 2) a concern with future generations as a discursive practice that legitimizes and sustains consensus around a recommended “eco” response. Thus, I conceive the findings from the local journalistic material as potent traces of an ecopolitics in vogue today, present in the discursive practices and political events surrounding the SOS Cassino movement, in the extreme south of Brazil.

Utilizo la problematización foucaultiana y la noción de red, como actitud teórico-metodológica de producción y análisis de datos. Como resultado, se encuentran: 1) el surgimiento de un consenso sobre una solución eco-sustentable al problema de la acumulación de lodo en la orilla; 2) una preocupación por las generaciones futuras como práctica discursiva que legitima y sustenta el consenso en torno a una respuesta “eco” recomendada. Así, concibo los hallazgos del material periodístico local como potentes huellas de una ecopolítica en boga hoy, presente en las prácticas discursivas y acontecimientos políticos que rodearon al movimiento SOS Cassino, en el extremo sur del Brasil.Neste estudo problematizo ditos extraídos de matérias do Jornal Agora sobre o movimento SOS Cassino, autodenominado apartidário e sem fins lucrativos. Utilizo a problematização foucaultiana e a noção de rede como atitudes teórico-metodológicas de produção e análise dos dados. Como resultados, estão: 1) a emergência de um consenso em torno de uma solução ecosustentável ao problema do acúmulo da lama na beira da praia do Cassino; 2) uma preocupação com as futuras gerações como prática discursiva que legitima e sustenta o consenso em torno de uma resposta “ecopreconizada”.
