Resumo: High speed countercurrent chromatography (HSCCC) was used to isolate the dammarane type triterpene shoreic acid from the dichloromethane extract of leaves of Cabralea canjerana, which showed activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. A preparative scale-up of the process was also developed.
