Resumo: The genus Hexapanopeus Rathbun, 1898 contains eight species, of which three are found in the Brazilian coast. The larval development of two of these species has already been studied in the laboratory. This article describes in detail the morphology of the complete larval stages of Hexapanopeus caribbaeus reared under laboratory conditions, and the morphology is compared with that of the larvae of the other species of the same genus.
