Resumo: The studied bog is located in the Parque Nacional de Aparados da Serra (29º15’-29º25’S and 50º00’-50º15’W), Cambará do Sul municipality, East Plateau of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, presenting a maximum height of 1000 m. A 349 cm long sedimentary profile was collected from the bog, using a Hiller Sampler. A total of 37 samples were collected from the profile for pollen analysis. The standard chemical treatment was realized, using HCl, HF, KOH, and acetolysis. The slides were mounted in glycerol-jelly. The qualitative pollen analysis comprises the palynomorphs recognized during the countings for the paleoenvironment reconstruction of the East Plateau, previously published. With the results it was possible to describe and illustrate 12 fungi, 6 algae, 4 bryophytes, 8 pteridophytes, 1 gimnospermae, and 56 angiospermae, besides 7 other palynomorphs and 2 Arthropoda remains, from the end of the Pleistocene to the Holocene. Data about the habitat are given together with the palynological descriptions of the determinate material. Thus, the present catalogue offers Quaternary reference for palaeoenvironmental studies of the East Plateau in Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil.

Um perfil sedimentar de 349 cm foi retirado da turfeira com um Amostrador de Hiller, e dele extrairam-se 37 amostras para análise palinológica. O tratamento químico seguiu a metodologia convencional, usando-se HCl, HF, KOH e acetólise, com montagem das lâminas em gelatina-glicerinada. A análise qualitativa, base do presente estudo, refere-se aos palinomorfos encontrados durante as contagens visando a reconstituição paleoambiental do leste do Planalto, anteriormente publicada. Segundo os resultados obtidos, foi possível descrever e ilustrar 12 fungos, 6 algas, 4 briófitos, 8 pteridófitos, 1 gimnosperma e 56 angiospermas, além de 7 outros palinomorfos e 2 fragmentos de Arthropoda, do final do Pleistoceno ao Holoceno. Dados de habitat acompanham as descrições palinológicas do material determinado. O catálogo poderá, assim, servir como referência básica para a palinologia do Quaternário do leste do Planalto do Rio Grande do Sul, sul do Brasil.Iheringia.
