Resumo: This study presents the introductory data and a key to 11 genera of Parmeliaceae (lichenizedAscomycota) occurring on roadsides and cliffs on the slopes of the Serra Geral, Vale do Rio Pardo, located at the central region of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The genera found were Bulbothrix, Canomaculina, Canoparmelia, Hypotrachyna, Myelochroa, Parmelinopsis, Parmotrema, Punctelia, Relicina, Rimelia, and Xanthoparmelia.
