Resumo: This work aims to analyze the relationships between the demand for rural credit, the area produced, employment and profitability of agriculture, for this develops the application of two methodologies, the first is the Panel Corrected Standard Errors (PCSE) and the second, the Panel Vector Autoregression (PVAR) model for the municipalities of Rio Grande do Sul, from 2013 to 2019. The results indicate that rural credit has a low effect on the increase in agricultural productivity, the justification for such a result is the underutilization of resources from these rural credit programmes, as well as the use largely only for crop costing, on the other hand, it is verified that a higher demand for credit is an effect of the expansion of the planted area, as a justification for the increased demand for resources. Another result is that the expansion of the cultivated area momentarily reduces the profitability of agriculture, related to the expansion of production occur to less productive areas.

Universidade Feevale2022-08-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttp://periodicos.feevale.br/seer/index.php/revistagestaoedesenvolvimento/article/view/293910.25112/rgd.v19i2.2939Revista Gestão e Desenvolvimento; v. 19 n. 2 (2022): Artigos livres - Julho / Dezembro; 28-482446-68751807-543610.25112/rgd.v19i2reponame:Gestão e Desenvolvimentoinstname:Universidade Feevale (Feevale)instacron:Feevaleporhttp://periodicos.feevale.br/seer/index.php/revistagestaoedesenvolvimento/article/view/2939/3086Copyright (c) 2022 Ronaldo Torres, Reisoli Bender Filho, Mateus Machado de Pereirahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTorres, RonaldoBender Filho, Reisoli Machado de Pereira, Mateus 2022-09-08T20:35:44Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/2939Revistahttp://periodicos.feevale.br/seer/index.php/revistagestaoedesenvolvimento/indexPUBhttp://periodicos.feevale.br/seer/index.php/revistagestaoedesenvolvimento/oaigestaoedesenvolvimento@feevale.br||mauricio@feevale.br2446-68751807-5436opendoar:2022-09-08T20:35:44Gestão e Desenvolvimento - Universidade Feevale (Feevale)false
