AVALIAÇÃO DAS PRODUÇÕES TECNOLÓGICAS E DE INOVAÇÃO EM INSTITUTOS FEDERAIS DE EDUCAÇÃO DO BRASIL

Resumo: The aim of this study was to analyze the Technological Innovation Centers (TIC) in relation the research activities directed the innovation of the Federal Institutes of Education (FIs) from Brazil. We carried out exploratory and descriptive study. Participated 15 of the 38 Brazilian FIs. The information was obtained by questionnaire about a scientific production, strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and the conduction of TICs through a questionnaire. The participation of Brazilian FIs by regions was: three, northern region; four, northeast; two, center-west; four, southeast; and two, south. It was found that 53.4% ​​of the research generated technological products with possibility of intellectual protection, in the areas of exact sciences and earth (18.75%) and biological sciences (18.75%). It was observed that the main internal difficulties of TICs for the management of human resources (22.2%). As weak point of the TICs, an indication of non-existence of networks of actions between FIs and company. Concluded that the TICs of FIs are limited the rules of institution and it is necessary to adopt strategies to strengthen the culture of innovation and technological development.

Foi realizado um estudo do tipo exploratório e descritivo, com a participação de 15 dos 38 IFs existentes no território nacional. Obteve-se as informações sobre a produção científico-tecnológica, forças, oportunidades, fraquezas e ameaças dos NITs por meio de um questionário. Os IFs participantes estavam assim distribuídos entre as regiões brasileiras: três, região norte; quatro, nordeste; dois, centro-oeste; quatro, sudeste; e dois, sul. Verificou-se que 53,4% da pesquisa produzida geram produtos tecnológicos passíveis de proteção intelectual, principalmente nas áreas de ciências exatas e da terra (18,75%) e ciências biológicas (18,75%). Observou-se que a principal dificuldade interna dos NITs para a gestão da inovação foi a carência de quadro efetivo de recursos humanos capacitados (22,6%). Como ponto fraco dos NITs, a indicação da não existência de redes de relacionamentos entre instituição-empresa.
