Resumo: Sexual assault is a cross-cutting problem that affects different societies. October 2017 was heralded as a turning point due to the emergence of the #MeToo movement. In this article, we intend to analyse data published by three Portuguese online newspapers to answer the question: 1) what is the representativeness of the movement in the Portuguese online press? News content was retrieved in order to ascertain: 2) the difference or similarity between the contents published by the online newspapers under analysis. We conclude that there is greater dissemination of information in the national news media regarding the impact of the movement on the international stage and little representativeness of the movement in the Portuguese

Octubre de 2017 fue un punto de inflexión, debido a la aparición del movimiento #MeToo. En este trabajo, nos proponemos analizar los contenidos publicados por tres periódicos portugueses para responder a la pregunta de partida: 1) ¿cuál es el impacto del movimiento en la prensa portuguesa? Se ha estudiado el contenido de las noticias para evaluar: 2) la diferencia o similitud entre los contenidos publicados por los periódicos analizados. La conclusión es que hay una mayor proliferación de información en los medios informativos nacionales relacionada con el impacto del movimiento en la escena internacional y poca representatividad del movimiento en los casos portugueses.Os abusos sexuais são um problema transversal que afeta diferentes sociedades. Outubro de 2017 assumiu-se como um período de viragem, devido ao aparecimento do movimento #MeToo. Neste artigo, propomo-nos analisar os conteúdos publicados por três jornais online portugueses para responder a: 1) qual a representatividade do movimento na imprensa online portuguesa? Foi feito o levantamento do conteúdo das notícias, a fim de aferir: 2) a diferença ou semelhança entre conteúdos publicados pelos jornais online em análise.
