Resumo: Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre a escolha e montagem de repertório de canto coral para coros da terceira idade. O estudo foi desenvolvido com o Coro Canto e Vida do Projeto de Extensão Movimento Coral Feevale. A investigação partiu de observações dos ensaios e apresentações do grupo, fichamento de programas artísticos, organização de arquivo de partituras do projeto, revisão bibliográfica sobre esta temáticae entrevistas com integrantes do grupo. O presente estudo revela aspectos para além dos musicais e vocais relacionados ao desenvolvimento do repertório entre eles: socialização, memória, autoestima e motivação. Abstract: This article shows a reflection about the choice and assembly of a choral singing repertoire for third age choirs. The study was developed with the Canto e Vida choirs from the extention program Movimento Coral Feevale. The investigation started from the observations of the group's rehearsal and presentation, book report of artistic programs, file organization of the project scores, literature review about this theme and interviews with group members. This study reveals aspects beyond the musicals and vocals related to the development of the score between them are: socialization, memory, self-esteem and motivation.
