The study investigates the effectiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in improving social and behavioral skills in individuals on the autism spectrum. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often presents significant challenges in social interaction, communication, and adaptive behaviors. ABA is a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and modifying behavior, using techniques and strategies based on behavioral scientific principles. The research encompasses a detailed review of the literature, analyzing studies that investigated the effects of ABA on social and behavioral skills of individuals with ASD. Results consistently reveal significant improvements in several areas, such as social interaction, communication, and adaptive behaviors, when ABA is implemented in a consistent and personalized way.
