Ceramic veneers confection through digital flow: case report

Resumo: Introduction: Harmonization of the smile for aesthetic purposes has been a routine practice for dental professionals who have benefited from technological developments and new materials that allow the significant expansion of treatment forms. Among the innovations that guarantee the quality, safety and oral health of the patient and optimize the work of the professional are ceramic materials and CAD/CAM technology. Objective: It aims to report a clinical case of smile harmonization with digital flow ceramic laminates. Case Report: A 39-year-old male patient, without systemic comorbidities and previous medical history of allergies, attended a specialization course in dental prosthesis at a college in northern Brazil with the main complaint of yellowed and different-shaped teeth. In the clinical and digital analysis, dental disproportionality was verified when smiling, lips with hyperactivity on the left side and greater exposure of teeth on the left side, conical lateral incisors and diastema, so ceramic laminates were indicated in 10 dental elements using the technique smile digital flow icon. Then, intraoral scanning was performed, mock-up and dental preparation were performed, finally the cement of the 10 laminates was performed in the patient. Conclusion: It was concluded that the result was adequate both in clinical terms and for the patient, demonstrating that the use of the digital flow technique allows agility, predictability and fidelity to work on the case, thus resulting in aesthetic and satisfactory results.

Entre las innovaciones que garantizan la calidad, seguridad y salud bucal del paciente y optimizan el trabajo del profesional se encuentran los materiales cerámicos y la tecnología CAD/CAM. Objetivo: Tiene como objetivo reportar un caso clínico de armonización de sonrisa con laminados cerámicos de flujo digital. Caso Clínico: Paciente masculino de 39 años, sin comorbilidades sistémicas y con antecedentes médicos de alergias, cursó un curso de especialización en prótesis dental en una facultad del norte de Brasil con la queja principal de dientes amarillentos y de formas diferentes. En el análisis clínico y digital se verificó desproporcionalidad dentaria al sonreír, labios con hiperactividad del lado izquierdo y mayor exposición de los dientes del lado izquierdo, incisivos laterales cónicos y diastema, por lo que se indicó laminados cerámicos en 10 elementos dentales utilizando la técnica sonrisa. icono de flujo digital. Luego se realizó escaneo intraoral, maqueta y preparación dental, finalmente se realizó el cementado de los 10 laminados en el paciente. Entre as inovações que garantem a qualidade, a segurança e a saúde bucal do paciente e otimizam o trabalho do profissional estão os materiais cerâmicos e a tecnologia CAD/CAM. Objetivo: Tem como objetivo relatar um caso clínico de harmonização do sorriso com laminados cerâmicos fluxo digital. Relato de Caso: Paciente gênero masculino, 39 anos, sem comorbidades sistêmicas e histórico médico prévio de alergias compareceu a um curso de especialização em prótese dentária numa faculdade no norte do Brasil com a queixa principal de dentes amarelados e de formato diferente. Na análise clínica e digital verificou-se a desproporcionalidade dentária ao sorrir, lábios com hiperatividade do lado esquerdo e exposição maior de dentes do lado esquerdo, incisivos laterais cônicos e diastemas, logo indicou-se laminados cerâmicos em 10 elementos dentários utilizando-se da técnica de fluxo digital do sorriso. Em seguida foi realizada o escaneamento intraoral, confecção de mock-up e preparo dentários, por fim foi feita a cimentação dos 10 laminados no paciente.
