PERSPECTIVES ON THE PRACTICE OF ROBOTIC SURGERY: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Resumo: | The following work aims to analyze the panorama associated with the practice of robotic-assisted surgery, which, together with videolaparoscopic surgery, are classified as minimally invasive surgery methods. To construct the systematic review, searches were used in the Google Scholar, PubMed and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) indexers. The keywords searched were: “robotic surgery”, “minimally invasive surgery” and “robotic-assisted surgery”. It is concluded that there is a need to disseminate this surgical method in Brazil, offering training for health professionals, in addition to raising awareness of its benefits for patients undergoing surgical procedures. |
