As society evolves, thoughts, self-criticism, ease in society, the demand for tax standards, also evolve. The world currently demands a lot about appearance. The image arrives before the person himself. The human brain is capable of analyzing a being just by observing it, without even knowing it. All information contained in this document has been thoroughly reviewed in articles and books to obtain an accurate analysis. The gummy smile is characterized by aesthetic disharmony caused by excessive exposure of the gums when smiling or speaking. A clinical case of a gummy smile was reported in which a minimally invasive gingivoplasty was performed, using the external bevel technique. The entire procedure step by step was detailed. And he got an overwhelming result. In view of the research, it can be said that a gummy smile directly affects a person's life. There are several types of treatments depending on their etiology, which can solve this problem, from the most invasive, such as orthognathic surgery, to the least invasive, an application of botulinum toxin. The technique that was used in this case, there is not much difficulty in carrying it out, and the procedure does not require a lot of time, just post-operative care that needs attention.
