Resumo: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in children is a challenging condition that requires a complex and multidisciplinary therapeutic approach. In the pediatric treatment of ALL, continuous monitoring plays a crucial role in assessing treatment response and adjusting strategies as needed. The use of imaging methods, such as magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography, along with specialized laboratory tests, allows for a more precise analysis of the disease's progression and its effects on the pediatric organism. Frequent patient follow-up is essential to identify potential complications and side effects associated with therapies, enabling early intervention when necessary. Furthermore, the assessment of the emotional and psychological state of children and their families plays a significant role in the holistic treatment of ALL. The patient-centered approach not only considers the effectiveness of medical interventions but also aims to promote the emotional and social well-being of those involved, assisting in the adaptation to this challenging journey. In the realm of future perspectives in pediatric ALL treatment, advances in genomic research and targeted therapies offer significant promises. Personalizing treatment protocols based on the specific genetic characteristics of each patient has the potential to enhance efficacy and reduce adverse effects. Additionally, innovative immunotherapies, such as CAR-T therapy, are being explored as promising alternatives, showing encouraging results in clinical studies. These innovative approaches represent a new era in pediatric ALL treatment, bringing hope for substantial improvements in the quality of life and cure rates for affected children. In summary, the approach to Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia treatment in Pediatrics requires continuous vigilance, utilizing advanced monitoring tools to adapt therapeutic strategies as the disease evolves. Additionally, consideration of the patient's and their family's emotional and social well-being is fundamental. Future prospects are promising, with advancements in genomics, targeted therapies, and innovative immunotherapies paving the way for more effective and personalized treatment.

Specialized Dentistry Group2023-12-13info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/106110.36557/2674-8169.2023v5n5p5327-5341Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 No. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 5327-5341Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 Núm. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 5327-5341Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 5 n. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 5327-53412674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1061/1222Copyright (c) 2023 Pâmela Camila dos Santos Ramos , Yasmin Suassuna Lacerda de Vasconcelos, Lizanka Dias Abrantes , Desirée Duarte Serra , Luciane Mari Brito Cavalcante https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess dos Santos Ramos , Pâmela CamilaSuassuna Lacerda de Vasconcelos, YasminDias Abrantes , LizankaDuarte Serra , DesiréeMari Brito Cavalcante , Luciane2023-12-14T00:26:51Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1061Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2023-12-14T00:26:51Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
