Resumo: Miliaria crystallina (MC) is a skin disorder characterized by clear, superficial vesicles, mainly affecting newborns and adults in hot and humid conditions. The objective of this narrative review focuses on analyzing everything from the etiology to the therapies available for MC. The results indicate that MC is caused by obstruction of the eccrine sweat glands, often exacerbated by factors such as heat, humidity, tight clothing, and intense physical activity. The diagnosis is mainly clinical, based on the presentation of the lesions and environmental conditions. The conclusion highlights that CM is a self-limiting condition that responds well to preventive and therapeutic measures. Avoidance of triggers, along with the use of soothing lotions and cooling measures such as fans or air conditioning, are effective in relieving symptoms. Patient education is crucial for the prevention and successful treatment of MC.
