This article provides a comprehensive review of obesity prevention and treatment strategies, focusing on clinical perspectives. The introduction highlights obesity as a growing public health concern, addressing the complexity of its contributing factors. The methodology included a systematic search strategy in electronic databases, with well-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results were grouped into four main categories: dietary interventions and physical activity; pharmacological therapies; bariatric surgery; and behavioral and psychological approaches. Each category was analyzed for its efficacy and challenges. The discussion addressed the implications of the findings, emphasizing the need for multifaceted and individualized approaches, as well as highlighting limitations and recommendations for future research. The conclusion summarized the main findings, underscoring that effective obesity treatment requires a combination of various strategies, tailored to individual needs. This study highlights the importance of integrating different approaches for effective obesity management.
