Resumo: Introduction: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune demyelinating disease of unknown cause and difficult to diagnose, which occurs in the central nervous system and affects young adults with a higher prevalence in women, characterized by cognitive dysfunctions, memory loss, muscle weakness and changes in personality, with this symptomatology causing damage that results in neurological deficits disseminated in time and space with serious repercussions on the daily life activities of patients with it. Objective: Demonstrate the benefits of kinesiotherapy techniques in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. Methodology: The work is a literature review, the following databases were used: SciELO, Pubmed and Periódicos CAPES. Results: Regarding the research quantity, 145 articles on the topic were quantified, using the PubMed, SciELO and CAPES Periodicals databases. Subsequently, 123 articles were excluded, and they were excluded according to the exclusion parameter adopted in the present work. Through the search methods, 22 works were identified that met the inclusion criteria. Final considerations: Kinesiotherapy exercises show positive results in the ADLs of people with MS, delaying the progression of the disease and improving quality of life.
