Resumo: Introduction: Painful symptomatology is a pathognomonic sign of dental diseases such as caries and periodontal disease and it is important for dental professionals to maintain a comprehensible communication with the patient in order to solve the patient's case of pain, however in the case of hearing impaired patients this understanding is compromised due to the lack of knowledge of the dental class about the use of the Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS), which is a way of guaranteeing communication with people from the deaf community. Objective: To create an Interactive Digital Manual accessible in LIBRAS (Brazilian Sign Language) to assist in the communication process during dental care for deaf patients with painful symptoms. Material and Methods: Google Scholar, SciELO and VHL databases were consulted, in Portuguese and English. The videos were recorded by a professional sign language interpreter, through a Samsung Galaxy A11 smartphone, using ringlight, Chroma Key technique and edited in the LightWorks program. The handbook was created using the Canva and Keynote apps. Results: The manual has 11 videos and are available on the website www.odontologiaelibras.com. Conclusion: the use of a digital manual in Libras with an interactive anamnesis is a proven effective tool in the patient-professional relationship, especially regarding the patient's right to good communication on the part of the professional and the health team.
