This article studies the relationship between social rights, such as health, and its implications with regard to patient safety in the hospital context from the perspective of the healthcare professional. Particularly, such research has a qualitative approach and is based on secondary data in light of recent scientific literature. In short, from further analysis it was observed that the active and conscious participation of the health professional in promoting a culture of patient safety in a healthy environment is undoubtedly indispensable with regard to the provision of care, despite the persistent vicissitudes structures in the unequal mold of society, which points to the overcoming of this paradigm of gradual but feasible problems as the user's citizenship becomes palpable through their safety and right to health.
