Resumo: Psychotic disorders encompass mental conditions that involve a significant loss of connection with reality. Delusions, which are false and unshakable beliefs, and hallucinations, which are perceptions without external stimulus, are predominant symptoms. These disorders impact not only thinking, but also the individual's emotions and behavior. The objective of this study is to understand how these psychotic disorders are characterized. Outcomes in the treatment of psychotic disorders are variable and depend on several factors, including readiness for intervention, adherence to treatment, and the specific nature of the disorder. Patients who receive a multidisciplinary approach, combining medication, therapy and psychosocial support, often experience significant improvement in symptoms. In conclusion, effective treatment includes pharmacological interventions, such as antipsychotics, to control symptoms, combined with psychological therapies and psychosocial support. Understanding the complex interaction between biological, genetic and environmental factors is essential for a personalized approach

Understanding the complex interaction between biological, genetic and environmental factors is essential for a personalized approachOs transtornos psicóticos englobam condições mentais que envolvem uma perda significativa da conexão com a realidade. Specialized Dentistry Group2024-02-19info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/151610.36557/2674-8169.2024v6n2p1690-1710Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 No. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 1690-1710Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 Núm. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 1690-1710Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 6 n. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 1690-17102674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1516/1694Copyright (c) 2024 Letícia Basuino, Natacha da Silva Estevão Cáceres Marques, Jessica de Oliveira Coimbra, Maria Queiroga Pinto, Mailson Meireles Batista, Mariana Fidelis da Silva Machado, Marcos Lucas Mateus Silva, Marcus Vinícius Santos Mendes, Lucas Arrais de Lavor Monteiro, José Afonso Freitas Melro Neto, Tiago Teixeira Lima Silva, Camilla Bandeira Oliveira Coelhohttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess Izolan , Rodrigo do Nascimento Sales , Gabriella Maria Pitt Gameiro Junior , Ailton Ventura de SousaMelo , Nayra Cristina da Silva Carvalho , Bruno Guilherme Melo deBarbosa , Ivah Avner MartinsNeve, Laryssa Camila AlvesBrasileiro , Luciana FerreiraPantoja , Andreyson FariasDias , Zaine DupimDuarte, Vitória CantoDuarte , Amanda CantoOrtiz , Yanialeidys OliverosKramel , Amanda Machado2024-03-01T22:58:18Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1516Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2024-03-01T22:58:18Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
