Resumo: Introduction: The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the human body, presenting little stability, and consequently being more prone to injuries, such as traumatic ones. Conservative treatment encompasses physiotherapy, which, through careful assessment and appropriately designed treatment, uses its resources and techniques in order to achieve complete recovery of the limb. Objective: To highlight physiotherapeutic interventions in the rehabilitation of patients with traumatic shoulder dislocation. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review research. Results: The techniques covered mainly included electrotherapy (TENS and Ultrasound), joint mobilization, cryotherapy, PNF and kinesiotherapy. These provided a significant reduction in pain, increased range of motion and improved muscle strength, proving to be effective in the treatment of traumatic shoulder injuries.

Specialized Dentistry Group2023-12-03info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/101010.36557/2674-8169.2023v5n5p4437-4448Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 No. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4437-4448Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 Núm. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4437-4448Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 5 n. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4437-44482674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1010/1130Copyright (c) 2023 Crisna Maria Ferreida da Costa, Rosileide Alves Livramento https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCosta, Crisna Maria Ferreida daLivramento , Rosileide Alves2023-12-03T03:12:21Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1010Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2023-12-03T03:12:21Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
