Resumo: The inherent challenges in the diagnosis and treatment of Cystic Fibrosis (CF), particularly in pediatric patients, are explored in this article. In the realm of diagnosis, the complexities associated with identifying CF in children are addressed, emphasizing the need for comprehensive and timely assessments. The diagnostic process involves intricate procedures, such as genetic and sweat chloride tests, whose interpretation requires specific considerations of pediatric physiology. Early detection proves crucial given the progressive nature of the disease. In examining the therapeutic spectrum, the challenges faced in treating pediatric CF patients are scrutinized. Various issues arise, from optimizing nutritional support to administering appropriate medications, incorporating an approach to the psychosocial aspects inherent in managing chronic diseases in children. There is a highlighted need for a holistic perspective that encompasses not only medical interventions but also psychosocial support tailored to the specific demands of this population. Lastly, the article reflects on the comprehensive challenges inherent in pediatric CF care, emphasizing ongoing developments in research and therapeutic modalities. Persistent efforts to enhance diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic outcomes are underscored. In summary, this analysis highlights the complexity of challenges in the sphere of pediatric Cystic Fibrosis, advocating for a multidisciplinary approach to enhance diagnostic precision and treatment efficacy in this vulnerable population.

Specialized Dentistry Group2023-11-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/94510.36557/2674-8169.2023v5n5p4255-4268Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 No. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4255-4268Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 Núm. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4255-4268Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 5 n. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 4255-42682674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/945/1105Copyright (c) 2023 Júlia Moreno Castro de Oliveira, Wilson Sant Anna Lopes Neto , Mariana Chodaski Perinni , Luiza Tibério Campos Calegário, Paola Miranda da Silva Pimentehttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMoreno Castro de Oliveira, JúliaSant Anna Lopes Neto , Wilson Chodaski Perinni , Mariana Tibério Campos Calegário, Luiza Miranda da Silva Pimente, Paola2023-11-30T21:06:19Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/945Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2023-11-30T21:06:19Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
